Career Choices

Career Choices

We created this survey to know what types of careers the students want to do in their future and what they are doing to achieve their objectives. With the results from this survey we want to learn about the motivation, the influences and the path the students will take to study and learn for their future jobs.

We created a survey with 10 questions about where the respondents live, what type of study they are learning, theirs motivation and what career they want to do in the future. The total of students who answered our survey is 18 people but for questions 4 just 17 replied and just 10 people for the last question. The data was collected by computer, the students just had to reply to the question on the internet on surveymonkey.com. This site is easy to use, for each question you can see how many people respond and what the total response percent for all the answers is.

Most of the people who replied to our survey are from Quebec but more particularly from Longueil and what is very interesting is the fact that 4 people are from Europe like France or Portugal. For question 4: Why did you choose this program? Two answers receive 9 responses and these two answers are about good job possibilities and that it matches their my abilities. With question nine it's nice to see how the people are sure of what they want to do in their future and they really want to do what they choose. For question 5 we can see that outdoor jobs and office jobs receive the same number of replies, with this question we can notice exactly that we have good ration in the group between indoor or outdoor job.

With the results it's great to see that the majority of the people do a technical program and we can notice in question 9 the majority of the respondents don't have another career choice because most of the time the people who choose to do a technical program know what they want to do and right after their course they will have a jobs. We can find a lot of job when we have a technical diploma and when we see questions 2 and 4 we can notice the fact that a lot of people are in technical programs and choose this program for the good job possibilities.

For the conclusion of this survey report I will say that it shows very well the path the students want to take in their future and how they will arrive at their objectives. I learned about the motivation of the respondents and what they would like to do in their career, but if I could change something of this survey, I would include more specific questions about their choices and what they think about how to get what they want in their lives.

Montreal

Montreal

For me, Montreal his one of the most famous city of the world, during the summer this city has many international festivals like just for laugh or festival du jazz. The unique atmosphere of Montreal is create by all the ethnics groups like French, English, Jewish, Arab, Italian, Greek, Spanish, Chinese, Haitian, etc. It's so nice to walk downtown Montreal eat in a good restaurant, listening many music show and see new people. To do party, Montreal is the best place in Canada because the bar are closing at 3:00 am, we can find a lot of kind of bar like pub, underground bar, independent brewery, night club or after hour. For music, Montreal is an international place for all kind of signer or band, most of the time, the artist who came to Montreal are really glad to play here and appreciate the enthusiasm of Montreal's fans. Finally, Montreal is a very great city because it's the only one who has an European atmosphere in North America.
